Installation
The gasket design is fully tailored to the specific constraints of each tank: the plates are custom-sized based on the nominal gap to ensure optimal performance and continuous sealing.
Technology
The compression plate gasket is based on a simple and robust principle: steel plates form a supporting structure onto which a PVC/nitrile fabric is stretched, ensuring continuous sealing around the entire perimeter of the tank.
At the end of the plates, a flexible PVC-nitrile lip is embedded to follow the movements of the floating roof while adapting to the tank’s geometric irregularities. This material offers not only excellent flexibility and abrasion resistance but also high UV resistance, making it an ideal solution for all types of tanks—especially floating roof tanks where weather and UV resistance are critical.
