COVERFLOTE ®

THE COVERFLOTE ®  is a screen in constant contact with the stored product. Evaporation losses are reduced by up to 99% compared with a tank without screen.

Return on investment is normally achieved in one to two years.

REDUCES UP TO 99%

EVAPORATION LOSSES

The COVERFLOTE ® internal floating screen is designed for installation in a fixed roof tank containing a volatile product or a liquid that may oxidise in contact with air.

The COVERFLOTE ® remains in contact constantly with the entire surface of the liquid as it floats, thereby preventing a gaseous phase from forming.

The screen comprises rigid polyurethane foam closed-cell panels sandwiched between two aluminum sheets.

The panels are joined by being recessed and bolted in aluminium profiles.

The panels have a density of 150 kg/m3, meaning that the COVERFLOTE ® floats by itself. It cannot therefore be submerged in any circumstances.
